China Urea Formaldehyde Resin Adhesive Powder - Quality Suppliers & Factory for Strong Bonding Solutions
Urea-formaldehyde resin powder
Usage Method & Ratio
Glue mixing ratio (weight ratio):
100 parts : 40-60 parts
Board Pretreatment
- Select high-quality boards and adjust moisture content to 8-12%.
- Ensure the surface is smooth, flat, oil-free, and dust-free. Repair convex bulges, concave holes, and cracks.
- Control board thickness accuracy within ±0.08mm.
- Boards with a cured but unpressed glue layer must be sanded before a second coating.
Glue Mixing Process
- Dissolve glue powder in water (suitable temperature: 15-30℃). Stir with a mixer for 5-10 minutes until uniform and particle-free.
- In winter, hot water can be used to reduce clumping.
- Mix H01 drying agent according to the temperature.
Gluing Process
- Standard glue coating amount: 200-230g/m² (small glue lines on both sides, no lack of glue).
- Board stacking time must not exceed 30 minutes (shorten when temperature is high).
- Do not blow fans on stacked boards after gluing.
- Do not use foaming glue.
Pressurization Time
Ensure appropriate pressure and hold time are applied according to standard operating procedures to guarantee structural bonding strength.
Curing Process
- Unload from the press and stack for 24 hours before entering the next process.
- Cure for more than 72 hours before testing strength.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
1. What is the correct mixing ratio for Urea-formaldehyde resin powder?
The recommended weight ratio is 100 parts of Urea-formaldehyde resin powder to 40-60 parts of water.
2. What moisture content and thickness accuracy should the boards have?
The moisture content of the boards should be adjusted to 8-12%, and the thickness accuracy must be controlled within ±0.08mm for optimal bonding results.
3. How should I mix the glue powder, especially during winter?
Dissolve the powder in water at 15-30℃ and stir with a mixer for 5-10 minutes until uniform and free of particles. In winter, you can use hot water to mix the glue to prevent clumping.
4. What is the maximum stacking time allowed after applying the glue?
The stacking time of the boards after glue coating must not exceed 30 minutes. This time should be shortened when ambient temperatures are high, and fans should never blow directly on the stacked boards.
5. How long should the boards cure before processing or strength testing?
Boards must be stacked for 24 hours after pressurization before proceeding to the next process. If you are conducting a strength test, the boards require a curing period of more than 72 hours.
6. Can I recoat a board that has a cured but unpressed glue layer?
No, a board with a cured but unpressed glue layer cannot be directly coated for a second time. The surface must be sanded before you can apply glue again.
